New Updated MG-Series 3D bumpers
Halko MG-Series bumpers are designed and tested with the drivers, for the drivers. Based on the feedback from the team drivers we strongly believe that these bumpers are a good choise from regular hobbyists up to the top level racers. These new versions of the popular bumper are designed to be a bit lighter than earlier versions and the structure is more unified than before. Basic idea is still the same the bumper gets thinner towards to front to ensure better compatibility for various different low nose bodies and the bottom surface raises a bit, so driving over curbs is more forgiving.
MG-series bumper's design is the same as before, the bumper sits firmly over the the bumper plate. This design allows a part of the force of possible impact to be guided to the bumper plate and this removes the unwanted stress from the body posts and front bulkheads. With 3D printing we can manufacture bumpers with more complicated forms compared to a normal foam bumper. With more open bumper design we have achieved better air flow inside the body and not forgetting more forgiving behavior in collisions.
- Note also that this design accepts different body post mounting positions.
