Bodies

New body is a excellent way to change the appearance of your RC car. Bodyshell will sooner or later wear out and get ugly, but exchanging it for a new one is a quick way to freshen up your car! Broken or cracked body will not work as it should, so always make sure your bodyshell is in a good condition. This is very important for faster on-road cars.

Body shape has a big effect on how a car works. This obviously depends on what type of car and how fast it is, but for competition on-road and off-road cars, different body styles will have a big effect on handling, cornering etc. 

Bodies are usually sold unpainted and made of clear polycarbonate plastic. Bodies are supposed to be painted from inside to the colors or livery you want. EuroRC also offer a selection of pre-painted bodies.

Some bodies are made from hard plastic (ABS) and these are usually used in slower "scale crawlers" or drift cars. These bodies are painted from outside.

Car manufacturers of course offer bodies for their cars as spare parts, so you will find bodyshells from HPI Racing, Team Corally, FTX, Tamiya, Tekno, Traxxas, Xray, Yokomo and more in our shop. EuroRC also offer a lot of bodies from specialist body manufacturers such as BittyDesign, JConcepts, Killerbody, Mon-Tech, Pro-Line, Protoform etc.
