Xray produces specific categories of competition RC vehicles that regularly claim podium positions at EFRA, IFMAR, and ROAR championships.
Their on-road lineup includes the X4 touring car with a 2.5mm carbon chassis and the NT1 nitro touring platform with its 3-speed transmission system. The XB4 4WD and XB2 2WD off-road buggies feature separate dirt and carpet editions with surface-specific suspension geometry and weight distribution.
In the 1:8 scale category, the XB8 nitro (with 4mm 7075-T6 aluminum chassis) and XB8E electric buggies deliver class-leading durability, while the XT4 and XT8 truggies offer 16mm big bore shocks and reinforced drivetrain components. Specialty vehicles include the X12 pan car with its 2.0mm carbon fiber chassis and the X1 formula car with adjustable front axle width.
Founded in 1999 by Juraj Hudy, Xray RC brings over 25 years of racing expertise to its product line. Their factory team includes world champions Martin Bayer, Bruno Coelho, and Alexander Hagberg, who provide direct feedback during the 18-month development cycle of each new kit. This real-world testing translates to race victories, with Xray claiming 37 international championship titles since 2010.
Each Xray kit features race-proven technology developed at the highest competition levels: proprietary differential systems with 4 adjustable settings, as well as optimal front-to-rear weight distribution and steering systems for finding those crucial 0.05-second advantages on the track.
Xray produces all components in its Slovakia facility using 42 CNC machines operating with 0.01mm tolerances. Metal parts undergo 5-axis machining from solid blocks of 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing stress points by 87% compared to cast parts.
At EuroRC, we stock the complete range of Xray RC products, from ready-to-race kits to individual upgrade components. We maintain direct contact with Xray's factory, giving you access to the newest releases as soon as they're available.
We also provide detailed technical support for all Xray models. For setup guidance or compatibility questions, our support staff can help you achieve the optimal configuration for your racing category.
Xray RC is owned by Juraj Hudy, who also founded the company. Xray operates under Hudy Racing Arena and is based in Slovakia, producing high-end RC racing cars known for quality and precision.
The main difference between Xray X4 Aluminum and Graphite Editions is chassis stiffness. The Aluminum Edition offers higher rigidity for high-grip tracks, while the Graphite Edition provides more flex, making it better for low-grip surfaces and easier handling.
The main difference between Xray XB2 Dirt and Carpet versions is suspension and chassis tuning. The Dirt version has softer suspension, wider arm positions, and more ground clearance. The Carpet version includes stiffer setup, lower ride height, and optimized geometry for traction and cornering on smooth surfaces.
The main difference between Xray XB4 Dirt and Carpet Editions lies in drivetrain and suspension setup. The Dirt Edition features a gear diff and softer setup for loose tracks. The Carpet Edition uses a slipper clutch, stiffer springs, and lower ride height for high-traction performance.
